Remember the add-a-bead necklace circa 1984?

Anyone remember the add-a-bead necklaces popular back in the early 1980s?

I remember loving them, but no amount of babysitting could earn me enough money for one.

Here is my modern version of that necklace... simple, minimal, sleek but delicate.

I decided to different amounts of beads to mix it up a little... a solo bead, a trio, and a 5-bead version.

Fall colors in Vail....

Took a trip up to Vail just in time for the fall colors. I love going during the off-peak season, before the snow comes. The aspen trees are all such a gorgeous golden color, spotting the mountains with large bright yellow patterns!

Looking forward to our first snow dusting....I'm sure it's coming soon.
