1000 Markets no longer....

Well, I'm sad to say that 1000 Markets, a wonderful site dedicated to artisan handcrafted work only, has been sold to Bonanza.

So lime green modern on the 1000 Markets venue will be no longer.

At this time, I prefer to keep my work on sites that are dedicated to handmade, so I will not be making the move to Bonanza, as they are a site very similar to eBay, that sells a bit of everything, manufactured and all. Nothing wrong with that, just not for me right now.

Of course lime green modern on Etsy is still in high gear, anxiously awaiting the start of the holidays! If you are one of my 1000 Markets customers, feel free to contact me on Etsy anytime!

I am currently looking into some other handmade only sites, so I will definitely update everyone on what I decide to do.

Thanks so much for your support!

  1. That must have been a tricky decision for you! I think you've done the right thing.
I had a bit of a love-hate relationship with 1000 Markets, as I couldn't buy or sell with them - they would only accept business in USA. I had a blog, but they suddenly took it away after a while and I couldn't even access my old posts.
But I did find some great folks via 1000 Markets - including yourself!

  2. I know Lizzie...I really did not like the fact that they weren't international either...such a huge part of any online business really. I thought they would eventually branch out, but I guess it was not meant to be for them! Etsy has worked out great, so I will stick with them. :-)
